Chaque jour compte
Chaque jour compte...it means "Every day Counts". I will be using a 2017 planner next year of the same name.. I have been looking for a French language planner, and up to this point have just been content with stamping the days of the week in French on my Get To Work Book. So I have found this wonderful planner, all in French, produced by Nathalie Grégoire. Oh, it won't replace my GTWB...I need that workhorse planner for real life. But my year in French will be in the 'Chaque jour compte'. I will use it as an art and language journal. No English allowed!

Bienvenue!
I have this strange desire at age 63 to learn French. At first, it was just to be able to read and write French. Now I find myself thinking it may be possible to learn to speak the language in a controlled environment. That would be everyone also speaks English and some French.
However, in this process, I find myself telling my husband and daughter about a tv show I am watching (with English subtitles, of course), a book I read or a word I learn. The enthusiasm I receive from other is usually a blank stare and 'um hum" In other words, they couldn't care less.
So I need to to be able to discuss this before I become too 'annoying in French! Welcome...or better yet...Bienvenue!
